Wendy YazujianProfessional Bio of Wendy Yazujian

Ms. Yazujian is one of the most experienced, educated and sought-after training and nutrition experts on the east coast. 

Having honed her skills during 12 years as a personal trainer in private homes and at the most elite fitness clubs, wellness centers and training studios, Ms. Yazujian has recently taken Bucks County, PA by storm as the creator of and lead trainer for Doylestown’s Adventure Boot Camp.  The camp is an unprecedented four-week model specifically tailored to the training and nutritional needs of average men, women and children of Bucks County. With the perceptive heart of a survivor, Ms. Yazujian skillfully combines encouragement and understanding with the discipline of a military boot camp to consistently produce weight loss results easily measured in pounds and inches. 

Beyond Boot Camp, Ms. Yazujian continues to train individuals and professionals with diverse abilities ranging from autistic children to housewives to senior citizens with limited mobility.  Training elite athletes and sports teams is a specific area of expertise, and she has developed vigorous customized training programs and boot camps to fit organizations, corporations, schools, and professional teams. 

Ms. Yazujian is currently at work on an online training program for those unable to attend or who are intimidated by traditional gyms.  Her program is challenging with proven results.  Nutritional counseling may also be done on line in conjunction with the training program.

Ms. Yazujian is a National Exercise & Sports Trainer’s Association (NESTA) certified Adventure Fitness Trainer, a certified Personal Trainer through ACE, a certified trainer through the American Fitness Professional Associates, and a Clinical Nutritional Consultant through The Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences. She a protégé of Dr. John Spencer Ellis, expert consultant to Life & Leisure Television and Health Journal Television, Producer/Host of The OC Body on The Healthy Living Channel, and creator of the fitness program used by the U.S. Secret Service.

Ms. Yazujian resides in historic Doylestown, Pennsylvania with her family.  She is an enthusiastic runner and weight trainer.

Professional Bio of Kathy DeMarco

Kathy is a certified fitness instructor who has clients in gyms in both Bucks and Montgomery Counties.  After attending several sessions of Doylestown Adventure Boot Camp and getting incredible results for herself, she was thrilled to be given the opportunity to be the fitness instructor at the new Montgomery County Adventure Boot Camp.

Using proven exercise techniques along with enthusiasm, empathy and fun, Kathy eagerly teaches her clients how to become fit and healthy and to hopefully really enjoy their workouts.  She loves learning new exercises and keeping current on the latest fitness news and passing that information on to her clients.  Be warned, however, that she can – and will – talk about working out to anyone who will indulge her!  

Kathy has certifications as a National Exercise & Sports Trainer’s Association, NESTA Adventure Boot Camp Instructor,  Adventure Fitness Trainer, Group Fitness Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Coach and Kid’s Nutrition Coach.  She also has certifications as an International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Personal Trainer and Youth Fitness Trainer.

Professional Bio of Cherie Oostdyk

Cherie Oostdyk has been involved in the fitness field for over 20 years.  She obtained her BS in Kinesiology and Nutrition at the University of Illinois.  She has her Masters degree in Psychology and Counseling and works as a Mental Health Therapist.  Cherie has worked as a nutritional therapist and personal trainer, certified through NASM since 1987.  She was director of rehabilitation at Gold’s Gym in New Jersey as well as instituting a child obesity program beginning in 2005 until the present.

Cherie lives in Solebury, PA with her best bud, Jordan, a 10 year old black lab who is also her running partner.  She also enjoys yoga and biking in her free time.

Dr. John Spencer EllisProfessional Bio of Dr. John Spencer Ellis

John is the President of NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association) and the Spencer Institute for Life Coaching. These two professional associations have 45,000 members in 30 countries. John is on the Advisory Boards of the National Health, Wellness and Prevention Congress, Exercise TV, Conference for Healthy Living, Irvine Valley College, Get America Fit Foundation, and is a Fellow of the National Board of Fitness Examiners. He is the author of "How Badly Do You Want It? - Your Ultimate Guide to Optimal Fitness," and a contributor to "Power of Champions." He created Adventure Boot Camp, the largest fitness boot camp program in the world. His signature series of outdoor fitness equipment is used in communities worldwide. John has been featured or quoted in every major fitness publication, and held the post of Fitness Editor for OC Flair magazine. John has been featured on NBC, CBS, PBS, SPIKE,

ESPN & Bravo. He serves as an on-air expert for Life & Leisure Television and Health Journal Television with General Norman Schwarzkopf. He is the producer and host of The OC Body on The Healthy Living Channel. John is a Nautilus sponsored athlete and stars in the workout DVDs Playground Boot Camp™ & Kung-Fu Fitness™. John created the fitness program used by the U.S. Secret Service and he consults the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships).

John has been continuing his professional education since 1987, and holds bachelors degrees in business and health science, an MBA, and a doctorate in education. He is currently completing a second doctorate in naturopathy. He has fifteen certifications including massage therapy, plyometrics, self-defense, fitness kick boxing, fitness boxing, water fitness, exercise rehabilitation, golf conditioning, Pilates, personal training, clinical hypnotherapy, sports hypnosis, PACE circuit training and yoga. He holds a 2nd degree black belt in kung-fu, has completed the Ironman triathlon, and finished 5th at the U.S. National Biathlon Championships. His medical training includes a license in radiological technology, a medical assisting certification, and training in McKenzie rehabilitation. John was nominated for the California Community College Distinguished Alumni Award.
