About Doylestown PA

The county seat of Bucks County, Doylestown is one of the most affluent and historic districts in suburban Philadelphia. Originally founded in the mid-18th century, it was initially established as a crossroads that would facilitate easy travel throughout the region. It was established as the county seat in 1813, though the borough was not officially incorporated until 25 years later.
