I saw an ad for Wendy’s Doylestown Bootcamp one month before my 50th birthday and made the decision to get healthier and get my body back. I was hooked!
It’s three years later and I’m still up before 5:30 AM (3-4 times a week) joining a group of amazing women all of whom are on their own personal journeys.
WE SHOW UP. WE WORK HARD. WE EVEN HAVE FUN.
I am stronger than ever. I see muscle definition where there was none. I’m amazed at the things I can do during Bootcamp because we work in a group setting, and I impress myself at the things I can do when I’m not at Bootcamp!
In addition, I find myself doing burpees when I search for something that dropped under a piece of furniture, or squats or jumping jacks while I’m waiting for the microwave, or bear crawls just for the fun of it, but I digress.
There is no better type of workout than Wendy’s…and Wendy’s workouts are completely different every time, combining strength training and cardiovascular conditioning, with Wendy’s winning personality, nutritional advice, and creative use of the world around her.
And to think, we only bring nothing more than a yoga mat and a few weights!
